Season 2 was done quite differently from season 1.
First of all the City of Kitchener and the City of Waterloo each contributed grant money to the project. The Mano A Mano team put all the funds right into the artists pockets. The first thing they did was secure 6 new artists for the new season. They then started a music compilation project where they attempted to get local musicians to collaborate with them on an original track. Lastly they got Ryan Dahle of The Age of Electric, Limblifter and the Mounties to play himself and Brad Merritt of 54-40 to play a version of the Coleman character.
They then got some new editing software and put together all the media before releasing the first episode and during an introduction to animation course DJ Steel was taking he created the episode 0 promo video. The concept for Season 2 got under way in the spring of 2014 and was released in the spring of 2015. Promotions for season 2 will start on the day of the fool and end on Canada day!
